This I Believe Essay
I Believe in the Enchantment of Music

I think this essay's strongest point is its ethos appeal. Because of this essay's distinct voice, the ethos is further emphasized. In addition, because the "This I Believe" essay is a narrative, the writer's personality is effortlessly conveyed to the reader. Through the descriptions of the writer's memories of her earlier stages in musical training, the reader is attracted by the writer's ethos appeal. I believe this essay captured and illustrated the emotions and personality of the writer.
In revising this piece, I focused on creating a consistent tone of narration. I recall getting feedback for one of my sentences, and the advice told me that it felt "out of place" tone-wise. Revisions were made to try to blend in sentences and convey the emotion of the narrative without hurting the flow of the tone.
